Granville and Districts Soccer Football Association (GDSFA) is aware of an incident on Saturday 17th August 2024 where a physical altercation took place during a semi-final match between Auburn District SC and Holroyd Rangers FC.
GDSFA has taken immediate action and has opened an investigation into the alleged incident. Both clubs have been notified and are fully cooperating with the investigation.
GDSFA has reiterated their commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of disrespectful, discriminatory or offensive behaviour at sanctioned events.
GDSFA and its Member Clubs are committed to ensuring that all football participants are able to compete and enjoy the game in a safe and inclusive environment.
As this is an on-going investigation, GDSFA and the member clubs involved will not be commenting on the incident until the investigation is closed.
